Detailed introduction of non-woven geotextile

The geotextile production equipment was introduced by Bendsbinburg and Delo companies, which can produce a weight of 100g to 1000g per square meter, a width of 2.0m to 6.5mm, single-layer or multi-layer (reinforced geotextile), and an annual output of 10 million square meters.

1、 Using raw materials

The geotextiles produced by our company are mainly made of polyester short fibers (fiber 4-9dtex, length 50-76mm), and can also be produced according to user requirements for geotextiles made of polypropylene, nylon, viscose or mixed fibers.

2、 Geotextile function

1. Isolation 2. Filtration 3. Drainage 4. Reinforcement 5. Protection 6. Closure

3、 Application

Due to the six major functions mentioned above, geotextiles can be widely used in railway, highway, sports venue, dam, hydraulic construction, tunnel, coastal beach, reclamation, environmental protection and other projects.

Weaving geotextile

1. The width can reach 6m, and the weight ranges from 80g to 480gm2.

2. Characteristics High tensile strength, flexibility, elasticity, durability.

Geotextile is a permeable geosynthetic material made by needling or weaving synthetic fibers. Geotextile is a new type of material and geosynthetic material. The finished product is in the form of cloth, with a width of 4-6 meters and a length of 50-100 meters. Geotextiles are divided into woven geotextiles and non-woven filament geotextiles.

Laying of geotextile

Before installation and deployment, the geotextile drum should be protected from damage. Geotextile rolls should be stacked in a flat and water free area, with a stacking height not exceeding the height of four rolls, and the identification film of the rolls should be visible. Geotextile rolls must be covered with opaque materials to prevent UV aging. In stored procedures, the integrity of labels and data should be maintained. During transportation (including transportation from material storage sites to work sites), geotextile drums must be protected from damage. Physically damaged geotextile rolls must be repaired. Do not use geotextiles with severe wear and tear. Any geotextile that comes into contact with leaked chemical reagents shall not be used in this project.

Laying method of geotextile

1. Hand rolling is used, and the fabric surface should be flat with appropriate deformation allowance.

2. The installation of long or short fiber geotextiles usually uses overlapping, sewing, and welding methods. The seam welding width is generally above 0.1m, and the overlap width is generally above 0.2m. Geotextiles that may be exposed for a long time should be welded or sewn together.

3. Splicing of geotextile

All splices must be continuous (e.g. no point seams allowed). Before overlapping, the geotextile must be overlapped by at least 150mm. The needle distance from the fabric edge (exposed edge of the material) should be at least 25 millimeters. The seams for sewing geotextiles include the single line chain stitching method. The thread used for suturing should be made of resin material, with a tension greater than 60N, and have chemical resistance and UV resistance equivalent to or exceeding that of geotextile. Any 'drip needles' on the geotextile being sewn must be re sewn in the affected area. After installation, corresponding measures must be taken to prevent soil, particles or foreign objects from entering the geotextile layer. Fabric overlap can be divided into natural overlap, seam or welding according to terrain and usage function.

4. During construction, the geotextile on the geomembrane naturally overlaps, and the geotextile on the geomembrane is sewn or welded using hot air.

5. When suturing, use sutures of the same quality as geotextile, and choose materials with strong resistance to chemical damage and ultraviolet radiation.

6. After the geotextile is laid, the geotextile membrane can only be laid after approval by the on-site supervising engineer.

7. After approval by Party A and the supervisor, the geotextile on the geomembrane shall be laid according to the above method.

8. The upper and lower layers of geotextile on the membrane should be buried in the anchoring groove together with the geotextile membrane with anchoring groove
