Why is the odor emitted by geotextile so unpleasant?
Geomembranes are made from polyethylene plastic particles and processed through special processes. Geomembranes are classified into several standards based on quality, including non-standard, national standard, brand new material, urban construction, and American standard. Among them, non-standard materials are processed with recycled materials, which have a plastic odor. Therefore, the non-standard geomembranes produced here are a bit pungent. Non standard geomembranes are only suitable for ordinary anti-seepage engineering, and the requirements are not strict in engineering. If it is a high standard geotextile film made of new materials or urban construction materials that meet national standards or above, there is no unpleasant odor.
